Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) outline the practical agreements between you (the client, participant, or visitor) and me, Laurie Gutteridge, regarding the services offered on this website and in our shared work together.

By engaging with this site or any of my offerings, you are agreeing to these Terms. They are written with clarity and care, so we both know where we stand.

1. About This Site

2. Offerings

I currently offer a range of services, including:

• Reiki 1:1 Sessions (online or in-person)

• Elements Series

• Water & Reiki Sessions

• A Word as a Doorway

• The Story Within

• Business Alignment Clarity Call

• Business Alignment: The Journey 

Full details for each offering are listed on the website. Please read these carefully before booking.

3. Booking & Payment

All sessions must be booked in advance.
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For longer journeys (e.g., Business Alignment & Elements Series), payment plans may be available and will be outlined clearly via email or contract.

I accept payment through Stripe or bank transfer.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

I know life is full and sometimes plans change.

• You may cancel or reschedule any 1:1 session with 7 days’ notice for a full refund or to transfer your booking.

• Cancellations made within 7 days are non-refundable, unless due to extenuating circumstances and at my discretion.

• Missed sessions without prior communication are non-refundable.

• For group offerings and memberships, cancellations are only possible before the container begins, unless otherwise stated.

If I ever need to reschedule or cancel, you’ll be offered an alternative time or a full refund.

5. Water & Reiki – Participant Waiver

Water & Reiki sessions take place in a float room and involve time in water.

By booking, you confirm that:

• You are physically and mentally fit to participate

• You accept responsibility for your wellbeing during the session

• You have disclosed any health conditions that may affect your experience

• You understand this is a complementary therapy and not medical treatment

A simple waiver will be sent before your session and must be completed in advance. You can also read the full Floating Guidelines.

6. Scope of Practice

All offerings are intended to support self-awareness, connection and alignment. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.

By participating, you agree to take full responsibility for your own process, choices and wellbeing.

7. Confidentiality & Care

Everything shared in session is held in confidence, unless there is a legal duty to disclose (e.g. safeguarding concerns). I am committed to creating spaces that are grounded in respect, presence and consent.

For group spaces (e.g. A Word as a Doorway or The Story Within), you also agree to respect others’ privacy and stories.

8. Community Agreements

In shared offerings, we enter into a relational space.

By joining, you agree to:

• Listen without fixing

• Honour silence

• Respect boundaries

• Keep what is shared confidential

• Take responsibility for your own needs

9. Business Alignment Journey

If you are participating in the longer-term Business Alignment container, you’ll be invited to review and agree to a more detailed agreement outlining scope, expectations, and shared responsibilities. You can read the full Service Agreement.

10. Intellectual Property

All materials shared as part of sessions, circles or memberships (written, audio or video) remain the intellectual property of Laurie Gutteridge, They may not be reproduced, copied or distributed without permission.

You are welcome to revisit and use what’s offered for personal growth only.

11. GDPR & Privacy

Your personal information is handled with great care. I collect only what’s necessary to communicate with you and deliver the services you’ve requested.

12. Legal Bits (Required under UK Law)

• This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

• In the event of any dispute, we will always aim to resolve it together first, through respectful communication.

• If a resolution isn’t possible, any legal proceedings will take place under the jurisdiction of the English courts.

• Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

13. Updates

These Terms may be updated occasionally. Major changes will be communicated clearly on the website or by email if they impact current clients.
